Pact is a musical composition by Nick Franglen, created from at work recordings made of nine ceramic artists working at Corsham Court in October 2011.
"Michael Pennie has been a great influence on me. I composed this piece for his show at Corsham Court in November 2011. I named it Pact partly as a play on words - you hear a lot of clay being packed in the recordings - but more as a reflection on the connection I sensed between the nine sculptors, and the contract between them and the building of Corsham Court itself."
